Reckon Financial Services appoints Ivan Murphy as Finance Director

Jersey-headquartered Reckon Financial Services announced today the appointment of Ivan Murphy as Finance Director. The move follows the official launch of Reckon Financial Services during September 2024, after the company secured a Trust Company Business licence earlier this year.

Murphy, a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with more than two decades of financial services experience, assumes responsibility for the company’s financial control and strategic financial planning, alongside cash flow, risk management, and stakeholder communications. Ivan contributes a unique blend of front-line experience building and running financial services businesses, with a particular focus on client servicing and tech-driven modernisation.

In his previous role with a multi-jurisdictional offshore finance group, Murphy led a team that completed a three-year Enterprise Resource Planning and Management Service project. He’s also guided finance teams in CFO and Head of Finance roles through acquisitions and organic growth in multiple jurisdictions, while also overseeing management buy-outs with private equity.
